born in honolulu, hawaii in 1994 and spending her childhood between both the greater sacramento/stockton, california area and baltimore, maryland, sammy joe temple is a visual artist who is currently residing in new york city.
she attended pratt institute's utica, new york campus for two years, refining her fine arts but also concentrating on advertising, before moving to brooklyn to continue on with her schooling for one more year at pratt institute's main campus.
although currently an art director at 72 and sunny in lower manhattan, sammy joe still focuses on her fine arts and is currently entering a mixed-medium space.
as you can see from her site, she loves the metamodernist aesthetic currently sweeping through the arts and enjoys applying those same visual concepts to digital spaces.
